The infantry is arriving and the cavalry is retreating. This is the beginning of the third volume in Bartlett's Gettysburg Chronicle. With General Doubleday and Wadsworth taking command of the army, the soldiers become restless and confused. A battle has yet to be laid out and the incoming force seems more organized.
